I'm a mother of 3, a new grandmother to a wild and strong little girl & wife to my honey of 24 years who is a retired licensed contractor, so when I'm not working we are finishing up our home projects which we generally use re-purposed building materials. My free time is spent with my family, finding creative inspiration through art, the outdoors and drawing.

I currently work full time at Patagonia in the Visual design group, I will hit 25 years with this incredible company this January. I realize how lucky I am daily and love my job dearly, however I still want to full fill my own creativity and start my own business to support my family. I have been illustrating since I was a young girl and decided that I would bring some of my drawing to life in a useful way by screening the art to items we use each day.

After years of practice, Romy has found that gently taming and suggesting shape yields the most elegant results. Even when she started small with wallets back in 1987, she always matched her meticulousness with curiosity. Travelling around the globe, she has studied various techniques and designs that have helped her cultivate a singular yet international style. Today, she has a few apprentices of her own and spends most of her time crafting with them in her Montréal studio. She still makes time to learn new techniques and exhibits at tradeshows all around the world.
