Originally from Panama, Sunday and her parents were born and raised in the tropics until they made their journey to Santa Barbara, California when she was in 1st grade. Her passion for the outdoors, art and creativity was inspired by her father, a wild, and talented man who spent his life chasing swells and stories as a professional surf photographer. As well as her sweet grandfather who encouraged her through-out her life and supported her, by chipping in for art lessons since the age of six. Drawing has been something she has always enjoyed, but never been able to give enough time to until recently.

Sunday eventually planted her roots in Ojai, California over twenty four years ago with her husband, three children and granddaughter. Spending much of her free time during those years volunteering in her community as the Chairman of the Ojai Parks and Recreation Department, advocating for the youth as a board member of Skate Ojai a local non-profit and raising awareness, organizing events to raise funds with her community and friends to build the Ojai skate park and install lights and now working on the West Park Skatepark steering team to expand the West Park Skatepark in Ventura. She currently works full time at Patagonia as the Retail Art Director and is close to celebrating 30 years of working at Patagonia and is proud daily to work for such a passionate environmental and social brand. 

Most of the artwork Sunday has done in the past was to support local non-profits, local events and Patagonia making illustrations for tee’s, stickers, and corporate event art. Now that her children are adults, she is stepping back from her years of volunteer work has decided to make it a priority during her time off to draw, get creative and start her own small family business with her husband, son and daughter. 

Sunday has brought some of her artwork to life by screening them on to items we can use daily, making sure to use local vendors and craftsmen and woman owned businesses, organic materials whenever possible, recycled, reclaimed materials and products made in the USA. Her drawings are inspired by her community, Ojai, nature and her travels. I also offer a couple of global brands with like minded business practices and super fun stuff that adds fun and value to our gift boxes.
